OMG… It’s Gluten Free!
“OMG… It’s Gluten Free!” is a gluten free café that was started after the founder, Julie Scianna, was diagnosed with Celiac disease. They are a 100% gluten free dine-in and carry-out cafe, serving the Chicagoland Southwest Suburbs and surrounding areas with a large assortment of delicious gluten free foods. In addition, all of their products are 100% peanut free and several items are dairy free, as well.
Gluten is a protein found in wheat, oats, rye, barley, millet. Wheat was only developed 10,000 years ago. Before that, people ate lean meat, fish and vegetables. When wheat came on the scene, it was completely foreign. Human bodies have to adapt in order to tolerate it.
