Fast ForWord

Fast ForWord is a revolutionary way to build the skills of children with language-learning impairments. The comprehensive language training program develops critical thinking, listening, and reading skills that are necessary for success in the classroom, workplace, and everyday life.

Fast ForWord uses its patented technology and adaptive training exercises that develop the various components of language and learning skills using computer-generated artificial speech, digitized human speech, and digital tone and sounds. Fast ForWord progresses with the child, growing more challenging and rewarding as the child masters new skills. The exercises are appropriate for any child with language-learning impairments from 4 years of age and up. The intensive program typically lasts 4-8 weeks. The children who make the most improvement are those who follow the recommended protocol, which includes 90-110 minutes per day, 5 days a week. Kids Can Do, Inc. provides and monitors the program off-site (in home) as well as in the clinic during the summer months.
